El médico veterinario, el médico veterinario y zootecnista y el zootecnista, dedicarán el tiempo necesario al animal o animales, con el propósito de hacer una evaluación completa de su estado de salud o determinar condiciones técnicas de producción en cada caso, para poder así indicar los exámenes complementarios indispensables para precisar el diagnóstico, prescribir la terapéutica y establecer los parámetros zootécnicos necesarios para obtener una adecuada productividad del animal.
