Medios de sostenimiento. Cuando el fracturamiento del techo o las presiones en las labores mineras subterráneas lo exijan, el titular del derecho minero, el explotador minero y el empleador minero debe implementar medios de sostenimiento o mecanismos temporales para asegurar el avance, tales como: arcos de acero, sistemas de pernada (certificados bajo un estándar nacional o internacionalmente aceptado), instalación de mallas, canastas en madera o cualquier otro medio de sostenimiento idóneo.
