El Gobierno señalará mediante reglamentación las autoridades a las cuales corresponderá la vigilancia del cumplimiento de las normas contenidas en la presente Ley.

Los Gobernadores Departamentales y los Alcaldes Distritales y Municipales, así como las autoridades indígenas, prestarán al Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística DANE, toda la colaboración necesaria, a nivel departamental, distrital y municipal, para la realización de los Censos y Encuestas.
