ARTICULO 49. DE LAS SOLICITUDES Y DECISIONES SOBRE PRESTACIONES. Las entidades resolverán las solicitudes de prestaciones sociales con sujeción estricta al orden en que sean presentadas, sin que en ningún caso puedan concederse prelaciones en su trámite o pago. Las decisiones sobre dichas solicitudes se adoptarán mediante providencias que se notificarán en la forma prevista en el decreto 2733 de 1959. Las prestaciones sociales de los trabajadores oficiales deberán ser reconocidas y pagadas dentro de los 90 días siguientes a su retiro.
