Curso básico de capacitación. Para ascender a los grados de Capitán, o Teniente de Navío, los Oficiales de las Fuerzas Militares deberán adelantar y aprobar un curso que se denominará "Básico de Capacitación", con una duración mínima de veinticuatro (24) semanas, de acuerdo con la reglamentación académica que expidan los respectivos Comandos de Fuerza, con la aprobación del Comandante General de las Fuerzas Militares.
