El Contralor General de la República, los Contralores Departamentales, el Contralor del Distrito Especial de Bogotá y los Contralores Municipales, por sí mismos o por medio de sus Agentes, podrán constituírse en parte civil dentro de los procesos penales que se adelanten por el delito genérico de peculado que afecte los intereses de los Institutos o Entidades bajo su fiscalización.
