En los distritos o zonas de un mismo departamento, intendencia o comisaría donde se constituyan Comités DRI, éstos tendrán las siguientes funciones

Estudiar y concertar proyectos que sean necesarios, a nivel de un distrito o zona, de un mismo departamento, intendencia o comisaría. Tales proyectos pueden estar referidos a aspectos como planes de producción y comercialización proyectos de infraestructura o desarrollo social de carácter intermunicipal.

Estudiar y concertar sobre los proyectos de cofinanciación y cooperación con municipios o asociaciones de municipios y el Fondo DRI.
