Las unidades regionales de salud, cumplirán las siguientes funciones: a) formular los planes y programas regionales de acuerdo con la política nacional de salud. b) supervisar y coordinar las actividades de los organismos locales de salud. c) realizar las actividades que le delegue el servicio seccional de salud. d) aplicar a los organismos locales de salud el régimen de adscripción o de vinculación que establezca la ley.
