º . Funciones en materia de Certificado de Incentivo Forestal - CIF. El Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural como ente rector de la producción agropecuaria, forestal y pesquera, y de conformidad con el artículo 5º de la Ley 1021 de 2006, desarrollará y ejecutará, directa o indirectamente, pero en todo caso bajo su control, las funciones previstas por la Ley 139 de 1994 en materia de Certificado de Incentivo Forestal.

Parágrafo

Cuando el Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural no realice directamente estas funciones, fijará mediante resolución los requisitos que deben cumplir la(s) entidad (es) designada(s), para el cumplimiento de las actividades que se les asignan en materia de Certificado de Incentivo Forestal.
