El Instituto de Fomento Industrial-IFI, continuará transitoriamente con la administración y explotación de las Salinas Marítimas y Terrestres de Colombia en desarrollo del Contrato denominado Concesión Salinas con la Nación el 2 de abril de 1970, que en cumplimiento de la cláusula 26 del mismo, se prorroga hasta el 31 de diciembre del año 2000.
