La República honra la memoria del señor General Venancio Rueda, ilustre hijo de Boyacá, cuya intervención en la política del país, ya como Magistrado, ora como parlamentario y por ultimo como militar y diplomático, debe ser ejemplo de las generaciones por lo que ello significa como decoro y patríotismo.
