Cuando la Nación necesite utilizar con cualquier fin una caída de agua, indemnizará previamente de todos los perjuicios mediante contrato o expropiación legal, a los dueños de los predios riberanos y a las personas que tengan derechos adquiridos sobre el uso de las aguas de conformidad con lo dispuesto en los artículos 895 y 1001 del Código Civil.
