º. Ambito de Aplicación. Las disposiciones contenidas en este Decreto son aplicables, en lo que de manera pertinente se señala en este decreto, a los empleados públicos del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores que ejerzan funciones para el servicio exterior, dentro o fuera de la República de Colombia y pertenezcan o no a la Carrera Diplomática y Consular.
