Art. 8.° Los gastos de la Inspección general, cuando se halle ésta á cargo de Inspectores generales, serán de cargo de la Nación; los de la provincial, de los Departamentos. El cargo de Inspector local es gratuito y obligatorio, y los gastos que esta Inspección ocasione los harán también los Departamentos.
