Función de la División de Desarrollo Institucional y Descentralización.- En la Unidad de Desarrollo Social, la División de Programas Sociales Especiales, se transforma en División de Desarrollo Institucional y Descentralización, cuya función es realizar, bajo la dirección del Jefe de la Unidad de Desarrollo Social y conjuntamente con las demás divisiones, las funciones relacionadas con el diseño, promoción y seguimiento de programas orientados a mejorar la gestión y la planeación social multisectorial en todos los niveles territoriales.
