ARTICULO 48. AGREGADOS Y ADJUNTOS DE POLICÍA. El Gobierno Nacional, previa propuesta del Director General de la Policía Nacional, podrá destinar como Agregado de Policía a los oficiales en el grado de Coronel o Teniente Coronel. Los oficiales adjuntos de policía serán auxiliares de los agregados de policía y escogidos libremente por la Dirección General.
