Se castigará con prisión de ocho a doce años al que ejecute un acto que tenga por objeto:

Impedir al Presidente de la República o al encargado legalmente del Poder Ejecutivo el ejercicio del Poder, aunque sea temporalmente.

Impedir a una o a ambas Cámaras Legislativas que ejerzan sus funciones.

Cambiar violentamente la Constitución de la República, la forma de Gobierno o las prescripciones legales para la renovación de los Poderes públicos.
