Todo empleador de un extranjero deberá exigir la presentación de la cédula de extranjería e informar al DAS sobre su vinculación, dentro de los treinta (30) días calendario siguientes a la iniciación de labores. Se exceptúa a los contratistas o empresarios de espectáculos públicos, culturales o deportivos cuando la permanencia se limite a las respectivas presentaciones. Así mismo se eximirá a los empleadores de extranjeros que no estén obligados a registrarse.
