El Quimestre escolar no podrá ser inferior a diez y seis (16) semanas hábiles de clase, sin contar el tiempo destinado a exámenes. Cuando por algún motivo se suspendan labores, el tiempo perdido deberá recuperarse mediante una modificación del calendario escolar, la que será autorizada por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional.
