De la supresión de las Comisiones Regionales para los Asuntos Indígenas . Suprímanse las Comisiones Regionales para los Asuntos Indígenas de la Dirección General de Asuntos Indígenas. En su lugar, créanse las zonas para la atención de asuntos indígenas en la Dirección General de Asuntos Indígenas, las cuales serán atendidas por funcionarios de la planta del Ministerio del Interior, quienes cumplirán las funciones que el Ministro les asigne. Las zonas de Asuntos Indígenas serán: Zona Norte, Zona Oriente, Zona Centro, Zona Occidente y Zona Sur, su conformación y sedes serán establecidas mediante resolución.

Parágrafo

Del régimen de transición . Las Comisiones Regionales para los Asuntos Indígenas de que trata el artículo anterior, seguirán cumpliendo sus funciones hasta tanto se organicen las zonas de asuntos indígenas.
