La suspensión temporal consiste en la prohibición del ejercicio de la Bacteriología por un término hasta de tres (3) años. La providencia sancionatoria se dará a conocer al Ministerio de la Protección Social, a las Secretarías Departamentales de Salud, al Colegio Nacional de Bacteriología, CNB-Colombia, a la Asociación de Programas de Bacteriología, Aprobac. Copia de esta suspensión pasará a la hoja de vida del profesional.
