Al retirarse del servicio el funcionario deberá hacer entrega de su credencial a la autoridad que la ha expedido, condición indispensable para impartir el paz y salvo ordinario una vez efectuados los registros correspondientes. Cuando el retiro será por causa de pasar a situación de pensionado, se cambiara de conformidad la credencial.
