Para la convalidación del título de Ingeniero Químico obtenido en el exterior, el ICFES verificará si es equivalente a los programas ofrecidos en el país; si no es equivalente, el interesado tendrá que aprobar o validar las signaturas o materias que el ICFES señale. Para la homologación de materias o asignaturas de Ingeniería Química cursadas en el exterior se requiere que se acrediten los estudios realizados por una persona, la denominación, secuencia, intensidad horaria y calificación de las mismas. Además el correspondiente sistema de valoración que permita interpretar las calificaciones.
