Art. 23. Hecha esta visita, cada Agente de policía dará cuenta de ella al Alcalde, quien formará una relación de todas las patentes exhibidas y de los alambiques sellados, para mandarla al respectivo Prefecto por el primer correo ; ésta, á su turno, hará un resumen de las relaciones de las Provincias y la pasará al Secretario de Hacienda y al Tesorero del Departamento. Si el Prefecto, ó el Alcalde notaren por estas relaciones que se ha cometido algún fraude, promoverá inmediatamente, lo conducente para castigarlo.
