El empleado postal que a sabiendas o por descuido recibiere encomiendas de prohibida circulación o contentivas de objetos enumerados en el artículo 8º, que no llenen las condiciones establecidas para su clase, además de ser responsable de los daños que resulten, pagará una multa de dos a cincuenta pesos ($ 2 a $ 50), a juicio del superior respectivo, sin perjuicio de la acción criminal a que hubiere lugar.
