Ley 9 de 1879 · Que manda levantar un monumento a la memoria del benemérito Jeneral Santos Gutiérrez

Art. único. El Poder Ejecutivo dispondrá que en la capital del Estado de Boyacá se levante un monumento para guardar los restos del benemérito Jeneral Sántos Gutiérrez.

En una de las caras del monumento se pondrá esta inscripcion:

"Al republicano Jeneral Sántos Gutiérrez, el Congreso de 1879."

Luego el año del nacimiento del Jeneral, el año en que murió i el en que se concluya la obra.

Para dar cumplimiento a esta lei, se abre al Poder Ejecutivo un crédito hasta por la suma de diez mil pesos ($ 10,000).
