Desde la notificación del mandamiento ejecutivo, hasta que se ejecutorio el auto de citación para sentencia de pregón y remate, puede el ejecutado proponer por una sola vez las excepciones que crea tener a su favor.

El incidente de excepciones no suspende el curso del juicio.
