Decreto 2788 de 2004 · por el cual se reglamenta el Registro Unico Tributario de que trata el artículo 555-2 del Estatuto Tributario.

°. Inscripción en el Registro Unico Tributario, RUT. Es el proceso por el cual las personas naturales, jurídicas y demás sujetos de obligaciones administradas por la DIAN, se incorporan en el Registro Unico Tributario, con el cumplimiento de las condiciones y requisitos establecidos en el presente Decreto.

Parágrafo

Sin perjuicio de las actualizaciones a que haya lugar, la inscripción en el Registro Unico Tributario, RUT tendrá vigencia indefinida y en consecuencia no se exigirá su renovación.
