Indemnización por muerte. A la muerte de un alumno en actividades relacionadas con su preparación profesional o del servicio, sus beneficiarios en el orden determinado en el artículo 100 de este Decreto, tendrán derecho a que por el Tesoro Público se les pague una indemnización, equivalente a doce (12) meses del sueldo básico correspondiente a un patrullero o carabinero o investigador.

Parágrafo

Si la muerte ocurriere en actos meritorios del servicio en operaciones de defensa o restablecimiento del orden público, la indemnización se pagará doble.
