Terminación del contrato con justa causa por parte de la gente de mar. Además de los eventos de justas causas de terminación del contrato de trabajo, la gente de mar podrá solicitar su desembarco inmediatamente en los siguientes casos:

Cuando el buque no estuviere en condiciones de navegabilidad o el alojamiento de la tripulación fuere insalubre según lo determine las autoridades competentes;

Cuando el capitán abuse de su autoridad, y

Cuando el empleador no cumpla con las medidas de seguridad, salud, e higiene prescritas por las leyes y reglamentos vigentes.
