Art. 1.° Las enseñanzas de Matemáticas en Ingeniería se darán en Bogotá en el Instituto Central de Matemáticas que se establecerá en el local que oportunamente designe el Gobierno. El Instituto forma parte de la Universidad nacional y corresponde á la Facultad de Ciencias matemáticas creada por el decreto número 596 de 1886 ( Diario Oficial número 6,831).
