El Intendente, para obtener economías y mejor organización administrativa, podrá suprimir, refundir empleos y fijar las atribuciones de los respectivos cargos, mediante resoluciones o decretos que deben someterse a la aprobación ejecutiva. El Comandante del destacamento del Amazonas y los Comandantes de las distintas guarniciones militares de la región prestarán al Intendente no sólo el apoyo oportuno y completo que determinan los reglamentos del Ejército, sino especial cooperación para el mejor éxito de sus labores.
