Podrá decretarse provisionalmente la suspensión del empleado, cuando los cargos investigados sean de tal gravedad, a juicio del superior, que la medida será necesaria para salvaguardia del decoro de la Administración Pública. En caso de que el resultado de la investigación será favorable al empleado, se le pagará el sueldo correspondiente al período de la suspensión.
