De acuerdo con el artículo 3°. de la Ley 6ª de 1943, créase una entidad denominada "Telecomunicaciones Nacionales", la cual se organizará como sociedad anónima con domicilio en Bogotá y podrá establecer sucursales o agencias en cualquier lugar de la República o del Exterior, donde la Junta Directiva lo estime conveniente.
