º . Objetivos de las Normas de Procedimiento Operacional . Las normas de procedimiento operacional tendrán como objetivo

Aplicar las leyes nacionales e internacionales de Derechos Humanos y Derecho Internacional Humanitario.

Definir claramente lo que las unidades militares deben hacer y lo que no les está permitido en materia de conducción y ejecución de las operaciones.

Garantizar una acción y comportamiento en las operaciones militares.
