El Gobierno por conducto del Ministerio de Obras Públicas y del de la Economía procederá a terminar el edificio de la Consistorial, la reparación de la planta eléctrica y la pavimentación de la plaza principal en la ciudad de Girardota (Antioquia), obras éstas que deberán estar concluídas para el mes de mayo de 1940, fecha en que se cumple el centenario de la fundación de esta ciudad.
