El Gobierno y la Dirección General de la Policía, respectivamente, podrán autorizar estudios en Institutos diferentes a los de la Institución a Oficiales y Suboficiales en servicio activo, preferencialmente a aquellos que habiendo adquirido incapacidades sicofísicas para la actividad policiva, sean aprovechables para continuar en servicio.
