Es deber de los defensores públicos mantener una capacitación permanente. El Sistema Nacional de Defensoría Pública promoverá la actualización de los operadores, por conducto de la Unidad de Capacitación e Investigación o de las instituciones que contraten con el Sistema, con el fin de optimizar la calidad y eficiencia del servicio.
