Las mujeres pueden ser tutoras o curadoras en los mismos casos que los varones y se habilitan de edad por matrimonio, igual que éstos.

Quedan en tales términos modificados los artículos 340 y 457 del Código Civil y derogado el artículo 587 del mismo Código.
