El artículo 229 del Código Judicial quedará así: "Contra los Senadores y Representantes, mientras dure su inmunidad y no se haya obtenido el permiso correspondiente de la respectiva Cámara, no puede adelantarse procedimiento criminal alguno. Respecto de los Agentes Diplomáticos de naciones extranjeras acreditados ante el Gobierno de Colombia, deben tenerse en cuenta los Tratados públicos, y en su defecto, las reglas del derecho internacional."
