ARTICULO 8º . CARACTER DE SUS SERVIDORES. Las personas que prestan sus servicios en el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario, INPEC, son empleados públicos con régimen especial. Las personas a quienes el Gobierno confiera su representación en el Consejo Directivo, Juntas, Consejos o Comisiones del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario, INPEC, no tienen por ese sólo hecho el carácter de empleados públicos.
