Cuando el Jefe de la entidad territorial tenga conocimiento de cualquier acción contenciosa en que sea parte o tenga interés la Nación -Ministerio de Educación Nacional-, procederá de inmediato a informar al Jefe Seccional de Escalafón para garantizar una adecuada y oportuna defensa de los intereses de la administración comprometidos en el litigio.
