RETENCIÓN DE LAS PRESTACIONES. La Dirección General de la Policía Nacional, podrá retener a solicitud de autoridad competente las prestaciones sociales de los Agentes de la Policía Nacional cuando éstos se hallen sindicados de delitos contra los bienes del Estado previstos en el Código Penal o Código de Justicia Penal Militar hasta cuando se produzca sentencia definitiva. En caso de condena, el valor de las prestaciones sociales retenidas se tomará para cubrir el monto de los daños y perjuicios que se hayan causado al Estado.
