º. De conformidad con lo establecido por el artículo 17 del Decreto 2331 del 16 de noviembre de 1998, el Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras podrá contratar con una compañía aseguradora legalmente autorizada, una póliza colectiva de desempleo para los deudores de los créditos hipotecarios para financiación de vivienda de interés social que hayan sido otorgados u otorguen los establecimientos de crédito. El seguro de desempleo de que trata este artículo solo cubrirá una obligación hipotecaria para financiación de vivienda de interés social por deudor.
