Fuera de los casos expresamente exceptuados en la ley, es absolutamente prohibido a todos los empleados del orden judicial exigir o aceptar dinero o dádivas por la práctica de las diligencias que están obligados a efectuar. La contravención a esta prohibición se sanciona con la pérdida del empleo, la que decreta el superior de la oficina, quien pierde igualmente su empleo si ante su superior jerárquico se comprueba elhecho de seguir mantenimiento en la oficina al subalterno infractor, a sabiendas de su culpa.
