La Nación se asocia a la conmemoración del primer centenario de la fundación del Municipio de Betania en el Departamento de Antioquia, que tuvo lugar el 29 de julio de 1989. Rinde tributo de admiración a sus fundadores y exalta las virtudes cívicas y sociales de sus habitantes, quienes en forma decidida han contribuido al progreso de la región.
