Además de lo dispuesto por el artículo 1° de Ley 34 de 1958 , auxíliase con la suma de seis millones quinientos mil pesos ($ 6.500.000.00). la construcción de las obras de riego que la Caja de Crédito Agrario, Industrial y Minero construya mediante la captación de aguas de los ríos "Venado" y "Cabrera" en el Departamento del Huila.
