La licencia concedida a un individuo para ejercer la optometría, puede ser cancelada por el Consejo Nacional de Práctica Profesional, cuando se establezca sumariamente que su poseedor ha ejecutado actos contra la ética profesional o se ha extralimitado en el ejercicio de la profesión.
