El Contralor General de la República deberá presentar a consideración de la Cámara de Representantes para su examen y fenecimiento, a más tardar el 31 de julio, la cuenta general del presupuesto y del tesoro correspondiente a dicho ejercicio fiscal.

Esta deberá estar debidamente discriminada y sustentada, con las notas, anexos y comentarios que sean del caso, indicando si existe superávit o déficit e incluyendo la opinión del Contralor General sobre su razonabilidad.

Parágrafo

Si transcurridos seis (6) meses a partir de la fecha de presentación a la Cámara de Representantes de la cuenta a que se refiere el presente artículo, ésta no hubiere tomado ninguna decisión, se entenderá que la misma ha sido aprobada.
