La Comisión Asesora del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores se compondrá de seis (6) miembros con sus respectivos suplentes personales, que serán designados así: dos (2) miembros con sus suplentes, por el Senado; dos miembros con sus suplentes, por la Cámara de Representantes y dos miembros con sus suplentes, por el Presidente de la República. En estas designaciones se aplicará la norma constitucional sobre paridad política.
